In multiplayer games, characters from all Nintendo universes meet up in Nintendo locales to duke it out. In the solo mode called "The Subspace Emissary", the world of Smash Bros. is invaded by an entity called the Ancient Minister and his army of creatures, called "The Primid" Normally, characters come alive in the world of Smash Bros. to do battle, then turn back into trophies when defeated. However, the Ancient Minister starts turning characters into trophies to harness their power, then detonates bombs that suck pieces of the world back into his realm of Subspace. Eventually, all the characters must work together to defeat the invading creatures from Subspace - this is accomplished by playing through side-scrolling levels.

About the Characters

The cast of the game is comprised mainly of characters from previous Metal Gear Solid games, although a few new characters are introduced as well. A prematurely aged Solid Snake returns as the game's sole playable character under the new codename Old Snake. Assisting him are Roy Campbell, his former commanding officer; Otacon, his sidekick since the original Metal Gear Solid; Naomi Hunter, the scientist who injected him with the FOXDIE virus; Meryl Silverburgh, heroine of Metal Gear Solid, now the leader of Rat Patrol Team 01, a military unit sent to investigate PMC activities; Mei Ling, Snake's former data analyst and now Captain of the recommissioned USS Missouri (BB-63); Raiden, the protagonist of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, now a Cyborg Ninja; Rosemary, Raiden's former girlfriend, who now works as a psychological counselor; and EVA from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, now a resistance fighter named Big Mama.

Also assisting Snake are Drebin, a gun launderer accompanied by his pet monkey, Little Gray; Sunny, Olga Gurlukovich's daughter, who was rescued from the Patriots; and the other members of Rat Patrol Team 01, which consist of Ed, the team's second-in-command, radio man, and sniper; Jonathan, a hulking soldier; and Johnny, nicknamed "Akiba", the team's electronics expert. Jonathan and Ed are named after the main characters of Hideo Kojima's 1994 adventure game Policenauts, from which Meryl debuted as a supporting character. Johnny was the guard stripped naked by Meryl in MGS1.

The antagonist of the game is Liquid Ocelot, formerly Revolver Ocelot, an agent of the Patriots until his mind was apparently possessed by Liquid Snake as a result of an arm transplant. On Liquid Ocelot's side are: Vamp, a surviving Dead Cell member from Metal Gear Solid 2; The Beauty and The Beast Corps; and his private army, the Haven Troops. The ghost of Psycho Mantis from Metal Gear Solid also makes a special cameo in the game.

The Beauty and the Beast Corps serves as the central boss characters of Metal Gear Solid 4: its members are Crying Wolf, Raging Raven, Screaming Mantis, and Laughing Octopus. Their animal names openly reference the members of FOXHOUND from MGS, their emotions relating to the Cobras from MGS3, and their weapons taken from Dead Cell members from MGS2. A close inspection of Screaming Mantis reveals two marionettes of previous MGS bosses: Psycho Mantis and The Sorrow, both of whom were psychics. All four of them are women who suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder that have become war machines. Their inner appearance is referred to as "Beauty", while their outer appearance is referred to as "Beast". Four models were chosen for their in-game appearances as their "Beauty" side: Lyndall Jarvis (Laughing Beauty), Scarlett Chorvat (Screaming Beauty), Mieko Rye (Crying Beauty), and Yumi Kikuchi (Raging Beauty). The voice acting for the characters is done by having the female voice actors perform the lines while a male voice (Shozo Iizuka in Japanese and Fred Tatasciore in English) overdubs on top of the female voices, creating a split-voice effect for the characters.

Dependence on your partner (whether human or PAI) is so pronounced that most objectives are impossible to complete without it.

About The Story

The story begins in 1993 in Somalia when Elliot Salem and Tyson Rios (the protagonists of the game) are still in the U.S. 75th Ranger Regiment. They are tasked to work with Philip Clyde, a private military contractor with the Security and Strategy Corporation (SSC), to carry out an assassination. After this mission, Philip Clyde, on behalf of SSC CEO Ernest Stockwell, invites Lieutenant Colonel Richard Dalton (commander of the 75th Ranger Regiment) to join the company for a desk job. He agrees, asking to bring Salem and Rios with him as contractors, and in the following year, the three enter the private sector. Salem and Rios begin work as mercenaries. Over the course of a decade and a half, they are caught up in a complex scheme to privatize the military, and see to the plot's downfall. At the game's epilogue, we see the two protagonists start their own firm - Trans World Operations, or TWO.

4. WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2008

Gameplay

Each wrestler now has two fighting style categories, one primary and one secondary. Each fighting style has its advantages and disadvantages in each particular match type. There are eight styles altogether: high-flyer, hardcore, submission artist, powerhouse, showman, brawler, dirty and technical. The wrestler's special move, however, is based solely on their primary style. In addition, creative manager of THQ Cory Ledesma stated early in production that he planned on having numerous wrestler animations redone.

A new "struggle submission system" has been introduced, incorporating more analog control into the game. The player executing the submission can now decide how much pressure is applied by moving the analog stick in a particular direction. Similarly, the player locked in a submission hold will have to power out also by using the analog stick.

The game features the revived ECW brand, and it takes its place alongside the established Raw and SmackDown! brands. The official box art features the ECW logo prominently. The game's ECW branding has expanded the number of weapons available under the ring during gameplay. New weapons such as guitars are available and tables can be set on fire. Despite the inclusion of the brand, the video game franchise will keep its SmackDown! vs. Raw name, although an early logo included "ECW Invasion" in the title.

The game features several arenas that WWE held events at in 2006 and 2007. There are also arenas based on each WWE television show.

About The Characters

Tony Stark/Iron Man (voiced by Robert Downey Jr.): A billionaire industrialist, genius inventor, and consummate playboy, he is CEO of Stark Industries, a chief weapons manufacturer for the U.S. military. He builds a suit of power armor to escape the Ten Rings terrorists after being kidnapped while performing a weapons test in Afghanistan and decides to help mankind as Iron Man.

Lieutenant Colonel James Rhodes (voiced by Terrence Howard): A pilot friend of Stark, and the liaison between Stark Industries and the military in the department of acquisitions. He assists the Iron Man in his fight against Maggia and A.I.M.

Dr. Ho Yinsen (voiced by Shaun Toub): Stark's fellow captive in Afghanistan, Yinsen is a surgeon who has traveled the world and was kidnapped by the Ten Rings terrorist group. He saves Stark from death when Stark was injured by shrapnel, and uses an electromagnet to suspend the shards he couldn't remove before they reach Stark's heart. He assists Stark in creating his armor and keeping it a secret from their captors. He also acts as Stark's mentor and his death was one of the principal reasons behind Stark's decision to change the direction of his company.

Obadiah Stane/Iron Monger (voiced by Fred Tatasciore): Stark Industries' second-in-command, who wants total control of the company. When Stark declares he will no longer manufacture weapons, Stane steals the blueprints for the Mark I armor to create his own, bigger version. He starts working with A.I.M. and steals Stark's arc reactor to create a power source for his armor. The Iron Monger later confronts the Iron Man atop Stark Industries and is defeated.

Pepper Potts (voiced by Meredith Monroe): Tony Stark's personal secretary and budding love interest. She helps the Iron Man when he decides to destroy all Stark Industries weapons stockpiles.

J.A.R.V.I.S. (voiced by Gillon Stephenson): Tony Stark's personal A.I., which assists him in the construction and programming of the Iron Man suit. He also acts as Stark's guidance system and helps him every time.

Boris Bullski/Titanium Man (voiced by Dimitri Diatchenko): An ex-KGB member and now agent of Advanced Idea Mechanics, Bullski created a titanium armor similar to Tony Stark's Iron Man suit, even capable of generating a force field and energy blasts. He confronted Stark in a nuclear plant in Russia and later at the Stark Industries facilities. The Titanium Man was defeated in both occasions.

Bruno Horgan/Melter (voiced by Gavin Hammon): Horgan was once an industrialist who specializes in providing munitions to the United States government, and a competitor of Stark Industries. After declaring bankruptcy, he discovered that one of his faulty devices is capable of casting a beam capable of "melting" anything composed of iron. Horgan then adopts the alias the "Melter", and starts working with Advanced Idea Mechanics, building a giant proton cannon in one of their islands. The Melter later confronts the Iron Man in a room under the destroyed cannon, and is defeated.

Marc Scarlotti/Whiplash (voiced by Zach McGowan): After being fired by Stark Industries, Scarlotti starts working with Maggia to get revenge on Tony Stark. He possesses the ability to stretch his arms as well as firing energy from his hands, and can also create a shield around himself. He encountered the Iron Man when he was destroying the Ten Rings weapons stockpiles in Afghanistan and was defeated after a brief battle.

Whitney Frost/Madame Masque (voiced by Courtenay Taylor): One of the Maggia families leader, who have previously had a relationship with Tony Stark. When the Iron Man attacked her mansion to destroy their weapons stockpiles, she confronted him.

Basil Sandhurst/Controller: An A.I.M. agent, the Controller commanded an attack on a U.S. military ship in the Artic. When the Iron Man tried to stop his actions, the Controller used his powers to confuse him. However, Stark manages to outsmart him and stop his attack.

Raza: The terrorist who orders Tony Stark to build a Stark Industries missile system for his organization, the Ten Rings. He confronted the armored Stark during his escape attempt.

Reviews

The Nintendo DS, Wii, PS2 and PSP versions all received average critical scores between 50% and 60% on Gamerankings and Metacritic. These versions were generally well received by the fans, but also suffers from gameplay, graphics and controls frustrations. The UK based Official Nintendo Magazine rated the Wii version of Iron Man 15%, their lowest rating to date.

The Xbox 360 version received an average score of 48% on Gamerankings and Metacritic, and the PS3 version received an average score of 42%. These versions were critically panned for frustrating controls, lackluster graphics, and repetitive gameplay, with Eurogamer awarding it 3/10 and IGN 3.8/10. The Official Playstation Magazine Australia gave the PS3 version 3/10, a rare panning for what was hyped to be a great game.

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots sitting on the top of chart. Wii Play Wii Remote still pretty well, second of this week. Next up are two brand new entrants, and, oddly enough, they are both pokemon Mystery Dungeon Games- Explorers of Darkness at three, and Exploers of Time at four. Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures dropped one place from last week, but still managed to finish fifth.

PS GTA climbed a plcae to the six. DS Crossword came in seventh place. Xbox362 GTA4 is sitting at eighth.

They are just so Cute!

Hello,

It was a quick day today. Yes, that's right, we had breakfast at 11:00am.

Anyway, my husband found some photos about very cute mini bigs. Chris Murray tried 9 years and 24 generations developing this breed ing programme. They are bigger than normal tea cup. I just like them so much, posting here to share with everyone. (BTW: the photos from FuzzTime.)

Have a look that little dark, he is still bigger than these little pigs. The one next to dark like a little cow, dotted.

There are fiive in this one. Have a look the 2nd from left. It seems he is pushed to back, and what we can see is only his noise - apparently it is brighter there. I like the first one from left. His mouth is open, wondering what is he talking

He is just so cute! Looks like Chihuahua if you dont looks at his noise, especially ears. It is fresh in pets.
